Zenith Tianjin International Logistics Manages 146.2 MT Marine Loading Arms from Rotterdam to Canada
G7 member ZTIL Zenith Tianjin International Logistics managed the international transit of a set of marine loading arms weighing 146.2 MT and measuring approximately 1,163.50 CBM, shipped from Rotterdam, Europe, via Taicang, China, for onward delivery to Canada.
The shipment included an oversized piece measuring 31.4 metres in length and weighing 67.3 MT. At Taicang, ZTIL coordinated the cargo transfer between vessels, including discharge from the first vessel, transit and customs clearance, and reloading onto the second vessel.
The project involved several logistical challenges, including handling oversized cargo, managing customs clearance for numerous item descriptions, and coordinating precise vessel schedules. ZTIL arranged large cranes for loading and discharge, applied its expertise in cargo classification and transit clearance, and carefully aligned the receiving and loading schedules to minimise delays and additional costs.

By managing the transit process and coordinating each stage of the transfer, ZTIL helped ensure timely clearance and a smooth connection to the onward vessel. The team also applied the relevant bonded-area policies to facilitate clearance, taking into account applicable exemptions from import licensing and China Compulsory Certification (CCC) requirements.
This project highlights ZTIL’s expertise in handling oversized industrial cargo, navigating complex transit procedures, and coordinating time-sensitive international shipments. It also reflects the specialised logistics capabilities within the G7 Logistics Networks community.
